Job Description:

This position maintains proper vehicle information by accurately and efficiently registering customer vehicles for sale day, responding to customer inquiries and providing clerical support as necessary.  The work schedule is Sunday 7am-3pm, Thursday 12pm-8pm, and Saturday 2pm-10pm.


Job Responsibilities:

·Perform registration duties at the registration counter, responding to telephone inquiries, servicing dealer requests and registering vehicles for Auction.

·Input appropriate information on all dealer consigned vehicles for sale into the computer, and print sale day “tickets” for auction processing.

·Correctly sort and file sale day invoices, registration envelopes, and other completed paperwork.

·Generate various reports such as sale day runs, lane totals, etc.

·Generate gate releases to permit purchased vehicles to exit Auction premises and input vehicles removed from the Auction and their release dates into computer on a daily basis.

·Collect “No Sale” registration fees, prepare deposits and forward them to the Accounting department for posting.

·Add “No Sale” registration fees not paid or collected into dealers accounts receivable.

·Coordinate with the Operations department to remark and park customer vehicles.

·Assist with setting up “Lanes Online” for Internet registration.

·Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e., assist Dealer Registration area and on the Block as needed, etc.

May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 to 3 years of clerical and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, good problem solving and customer service skills required. 
  • Must be able to operate adding machines and other office equipment (copier, fax machine, etc.). 
  • Good computer software skills necessary.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
